Founded in 1988, Sandpiper Air (Radio Callsign "Sandpiper") was the Nantucket-based island airline operating out of Tom Nevers Field owned and operated by Nantucket locals Joe Hackett and his brother Brian. Sandpiper operated a single aircraft fleet which consisted of a Cessna 402, FAA registration number N121PP.
